This 110 year old building was originally a convent which was managed by the cathedral next to the hotel. In 2004 the President decided to transform the building into a five star hotel.
One floor and a swimming pool as a well as a fitness room were added. The building kept the colonial style structure as part of the history and combines contemporary design in the refurbishment of the rooms and public areas. Since 2007 the hotel caters to international business as well as leisure traveller. The hotel is also within walking distance from the Presidential Palace, the administrative offices and the national library. An historic Spanish building fused with local decor in a very cosy atmosphere.
